Overview: Taylor Dresses is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Siouni and Zar Corporation DBA Danny and Nicole, a privately-held international apparel firm with a portfolio of diverse, branded and private label Women's apparel collections. They are distributed through multi-tiered retail channels ranging from moderate classic through contemporary.
Problem: Taylor Dresses' previous site was out of date, was not engaging to the customer, and as a result had poor traffic and high bounce rates. It did not cater to the specific target market, of the young, hip woman. They needed an online presence that kept up with the fast-paced lifestyle that is the Taylor woman.
Solution:After extensive research of the Taylor market, we put together various options of a graphic interface design as well as user interface design. We chose a look and feel that would appeal to a younger, more trendy audience, as well as a Web 2.0 interface. The results yielded a clearly better user experience, with analytics proving to be very favorable including a low 17% bounce rate, 83% new visits, and an average time on site of 2 minutes and 49 seconds.
